23 Apr, 2009 09:08 AM
POLICE have busted a hydroponic cannabis lab in Stroud valued to be worth more than $85,000.

Police raided the Wards River property last Tuesday, in relation to alleged drug supply on the premises. They allegedly found 17 cannabis plants were found growing in the front room. The one-metre high plants, seized by police, were valued at $5000 each. The owner of the house, who was not home during the search, was later arrested and charged with cultivating a prohibited drug and supply of a prohibited drug.
