Aged care centre gets go ahead

05 Mar, 2009 08:33 AM
TEA Gardens residents could soon have access to an aged care facility following council’s approval of the project last week.

The centre is expected to house 100 patients which consists of 64 high care beds and 36 dementia beds.

The facility will include a day spa for patients and a childcare centre for staff and guests, plus parking facilities.

The 2.2 hectares site runs adjacent with the Hermitage and the Tea Gardens Grange retirement villages on Spinifex Av.
