HAWKS Nest First National Real Estate was recognised at the First National Convention in Queensland last week for their efforts in raising money for the foundation.
The real estate held a community garden party last month and raised over $3000.
A 2008 special achievement award was presented to the business; the only one awarded nationally.
The First National Foundation is in partnership with the Red Cross in support of the Emergency RediPlan.
The RediPlan is a Red Cross community information program to help people in Australia prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies more effectively.
Hawks Nest Real Estate would like to thank the whole community for supporting this cause.
The Biggest Morning Tea held at the real estate offices was also well attended last Thursday by about 40 people.
Donations and a raffle raised $260 for the cause.
