THE annual oncology day at Tea Garden Womens Bowling Club has raised the impressive total of $4500. The day, held in conjunction with the men's club, was to benefit the Mater Hospital's auxiliary.
The ladies social committee served up a scrumptious lunch before presenting auxiliary president Glad Dent, treasurer Kaye Fordham and assistant treasurer Jo Pritchard with the day's proceeds.
"The amount raised would not have been possible were it not for the generous people and businesses and we thank them all," Fay Giggins from the women's bowling club said.
The lunch was donated by the Tea Gardens Women's Bowling and served by their capable social committee.
