Tea Gardens Public School will be celebrating education week next week, along with hundreds of other public schools around the state.
The school has a variety of activities to enjoy on Friday, May 30 with parents and members of the community welcome to come along and join in.
The day will start at 10am with members of the Junior Red Cross visiting the Myall Dolphins at the community centre.
A sausage sizzle lunch will follow at 11am before an open classroom visit between 12 pm and 1.30pm. During this time students will be involved in activities for the school Olympic Games which will be held in term three. Students will be adopting a country and looking at the associated multicultural aspects.
The Wilgas (Mr Weightman) will hold an assembly presentation at 2pm.
Students always look forward to experiencing the wit and humour that this class displays.
