A 47-year-old trike passenger died on Saturday, September 29, after the Harley Davidson trike she was a passenger on collided with a car on the Pacific Highway.

The accident happened near Viney Creek Rd at around 11am.

The driver of the trike, a 49-year-old-man, was seriously injured in the accident.

He was flown, along with the driver of the four-wheel drive, to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle.

This is the second accident along the stretch of road in the past fortnight.

Police believed Mr Allen was driving along the incorrect side of the road when his car collided with a four-wheel drive.
