Looking stunning in their white dresses, 13 young ladies made their debut to society at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club last Saturday, June 16.
Attended by some of the Myall's most eligible bachelors, the ladies were presented in front of a large gathering of family and friends before they were whisked onto the dance floor by their dutiful partners.
One of the largest groups to make their debut in a number of years, the ladies were introduced by Matron of Honour Vanessa Shultz to the Guest of Honour Sister Margaret Valentine, the parish pastorals coordinator for Bulahdelah, Tea Gardens and Karuah.
The ladies and their partners had spent the past two and a half months preparing for the big night under the tutelage of dance instructors Elaine Fittock and Monica Schlenert.
Following the formal proceedings, festivities continued well into the evening with live music and dance.
Thanks must go the Bowling Club, MC Mike Stace, St Joseph's School and St Brigid's Parish volunteers for organising the event as well as businesses and community members from across Bulahdelah for their generous support.
