TEA Gardens Hawks Nest Motor Club Inc are ready to stage their fifth annual Motorfest (Motorfest 2007), to be held at Hawks Nest on Saturday, March 10.
Selected motor clubs from Newcastle, the Hunter Region, Sydney Basin, Central Coast, Taree and the Port Macquarie area are expected to attend.
This wonderful and interesting day, where enthusiasts display their treasured veteran, vintage, classic and unique vehicles and motorcycles in pristine condition has become a popular event.
The program starts at 10am at Myall Sports Oval, Hawks Nest, with approximately 300 vehicles and motorcycles expected.
A special attraction this year will be a large NRMA display unit, vintage patrol van and motorcycles for public inspection.
Additionally, the local police, fire brigade, ambulance service and surf life saving club will attend with their latest vehicles and interesting displays.
Red Cross ladies will serve coffee, tea and homemade cakes. Lions will once again cater a busy barbecue for hungry visitors.
Visitors will be entertained with performances by the Newcastle Reserve Army Band, Tea Gardens Public School Band and popular country style music.
Thanks to the generous support of local sponsors and their donations, the chocolate wheel will operate all day with an excellent chance of winning one of the many interesting prizes.
Motorfest 2007 is a community aid event day in support of Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Surf Life Saving Club and Tea Gardens Clinic Bus.
