17 May, 2007 08:40 AM
LADIES from the Grange were doing there thing on the catwalk last on Wednesday, May 2.

Ella's Boutique had organised a winter fashion parade at the Grange and many of the residents acted as models, with all getting right into the spirit of things.

It's the first time owner of Ella's Boutique, Janice Taylor, has held a winter parade and she said it was such a success that the event could become an annual occurrence.

"It was very well attended and everyone who was there had a great time," she said.

"The parade was held in the clubhouse and there was enough champagne and, snacks and other refreshments to last well into the afternoon."

Residents modeled a range of casual winter wear including clothing from Black Pepper, Gordon Smith and Yarra Trail.

Black Pepper even donated a three-piece outfit as a door prize, won by Mrs Lawrence.
