OVER 100 Bulahdelah residents attended a public meeting last year to give input towards the development of a community strategic plan.
Now residents are being called together to give their final approval on the plan.
During the first meeting 32 projects were identified under the topics of business development, tourism, physical improvements to the town and surrounding area and youth, sport and recreation.
A plan was formatted after discussions with Great Lakes Council and the Department of State and Regional Development.
A public meeting will give residents a chance to discuss how projects can be funded and establish project teams to ensure completion.
“This is an important time for Bulahdelah,” Bulahdelah Chamber of Commerce and Tourism president Brian Cook said.
“The bypass has now been approved so it is important to ensure that Bulahdelah continues not only to thrive as a successful township now, but after the bypass and into the next century.
“Only then can we provide lifestyle opportunities and future employment for our children and grandchildren,” Mr Cook said.
The public meeting will be held at Detours Cafe on Tuesday, July 1, from 6pm, with food and refreshments provided.
All residents are encouraged to come along and get involved in the future of Bulahdelah.
