SEVERAL organisations in Tea Gardens Hawks Nest have attracted substantial sponsorship under MidCoast Water’s annual community allocation.
Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Meals on Wheels has received a $1500 boost, while $1000 has gone to both the Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Surf Lifesaving Club and the Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Lioness Club for Australia Day celebrations.
Through the funding, MidCoast Water aims to support non-profit community organisations in staging events and projects which are of benefit to the general public.
Fifty-two groups in the region received funding.
