Two Bulahdelah drivers collided on Markwell Rd Bulahdelah on February 14.
About 7am the driver of a Holden Commodore heading north veered to the incorrect side of the road while entering a right-hand bend about 7km out of town.
He ran head-on into a Toyota Hi-lux 4WD being driven south.
Bulahdelah police, ambulance, fire brigade and the Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to initial reports that the commodore driver was possibly trapped.
On arrival he was found to have released himself. Both drivers were transported by ambulance, the commodore driver to Bulahdelah Hospital and the hi-lux driver to Manning Hospital for precautionary x-rays. Both were cleared of any serious injury.
The commodore driver has been issued an infringement notice for negligent driving.
