Lambert in contention for prestigious award

15 Jul, 2008 01:15 PM
TRADESMEN have been busy hurrying to finish a house at Pindimar, being built by local company Lambert Building.

The house and company have been nominated for a prestigious Master Builders Association award to be presented in August.

The nomination evolvedd after both the architect and owner heard about the awards and decided the building was worthy of nomination.

The building has been nominated in the custom built homes between $500, 000 and $750, 000 range.

The building design offers solar efficiency and was constructed with as little environment impact as possible.

The materials used in construction show off the skills of the tradespeople.

“The tradesmen we use are all quality people,” Lambert Building manager Geoff Lambert said.

“We don’t sacrifice quality; when we walk away from a site we want to be as happy as the owners.”

The owner had seen the work Lambert Building has done around Tea Gardens Hawks Nest and knew the company had the staff and capabilities to build the home.

Representatives from the Master Builders Association viewed the house at the end of June.

The presentation and awards night will be held on August 15.
