Opening night attracts100

YOU would have been forgiven if you mistook Hawks Nest for Hollywood on Friday, October 20, when over 100 people attended the premiere opening night of The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree.

No expense was spared on creating the atmosphere, red carpet, neon lights, and Mimi Baps and her own film crew.

The red carpet hosted some famous people from the region including Great Lakes Council mayor John Chadban and general manager Keith O'Leary, not to mention fashion and the best bling money can buy.

One man was very proud of his couture Prada Eskie, only here at Hollynest.

The 30 plus cast and crew have been plundering for weeks to get to this date and were rewarded with a standing ovation, the costumes this year were very colourful as was the set, yes it could have been a real pirate ship! A big huzzah and a sigh of relief for Florence Beatty the director another successful play performed by the Myall Entertainers 2006.
