A number of parking infringement notices have been issued by Bulahdelah Police over the last couple of months for people parking nose in along Stroud St in Bulahdelah.
Signs clearly state the shopping district in Stroud St is a 45 degree angle parking, rear to kerb section.
Problems are being caused by people ignoring the signs and turning across the traffic flow to parked nose-in in the marked spaces.
This then causes further problems when the driver reverses out from the park and causes disruption to the flow off traffic along both sides of the street.
Police are aware that many locals advise people when they are parked the wrong way and are sure these people would appreciate missing out on the $79 fine.
Parents dropping off and picking up their children from school should be aware the parking restrictions in Meade St have been changed.
Restrictions were put into place last year making the side of the road in front of the police station and top residence a no stopping zone.
The zones have recently been modified to a no parking rather than no stopping.
This means you may stop between the two driveways to drop off and pick up, but you cannot park and leave your car unattended. The no stopping areas near the pedestrian crossing and the bus zones at the front of the school remain.
