TEA Gardens Karuah Cricket Club A grade played Raworth at Maitland Park.
Batting first the Shark’s scored 7/164, after only eight players were available for the game.
Best of the batting was Brad Pinch 60 and Dave Foot 44.
Raworth batsmen were no match for the Sharks bowling attack, with Raworth being bundled out for 103 in the 21st over.
Mark Johnson took 4/30 off his eight overs.
A grade played Tenambit at Karuah in round two.
On losing the toss the Sharks bowled first and the Tenambit batsmen took too the bowlers early.
However Colin McCarthy came into the attack, slowing up the run flow and taking 4/16 off his eight overs.
The Tenambit side were bowled out for 154.
The Sharks batsmen went to the crease playing carelessly, loosing quick wickets to be 6/55 before Adrian Callaghan 91 not out and the tail enders steered the side to a good win with the 32nd over by two wickets.
D grade
TEA Gardens Karuah Cricket Club D grade played Raymond Terrace at Tea Gardens in the first game of the season on Saturday, October 11.
Tea Gardens won.

Tea Gardens Karuah Cricket club D grade took on Kurri Kurri at Memorial Park on Saturday, October 18.
Tea Gardens batted first and set a reasonable target of 145.
Top run scorers were Stuart Hole with a well made 51 and Jason Powell with a solid 28.
Kurri Kurri was held down by excellent fielding and bowling.
Best of the bowlers where Ryan Saunders with 3/14, Jay Reynolds with 3/19, Tom King with 2/32 and Graham Johnson with 1/25.
Kurri Kurri was eventually bowled out for 120.
Next week D grade plays at Tea Gardens Memorial Oval against Raworth Rabbitohs at 1pm.

The Under 10s played North’s at Karuah.
The young Sharks batted out to be 10 wickets down for 79 runs and North batted 78 runs for the loss of six wickets.
The junior sharks just went down on averages; despite scoring more runs they lost more wickets than the North’s outfit.
The man of the match was Riley Hole.
Bowling honours went to Aiden Bills with 2/10 and best batsman was Mitchell Pinch with 19.
