Peddlers pushing their limits

22 Jan, 2009 10:11 AM
THE MYALL Peddlers have completed their inaugural time trial.

Just for the exercise, so to speak, some of the groups members decided to check their efforts against the clock.

Peter Brown , Col Bertram, Karl Lackman, Bob Adams and Larry Tofler have had their 26.2 kilometre ride from Hawks Nest to the Bombah Point ferry officially recorded as 50.49 min, 59.08 min, 66.48 min, 53.00 min and 57.58 min respectively.

The Myall Peddlers are keen to promote cycling in the area as a great way to keep healthy and a very practical alternative to a car, especially in a beautiful, clean, flat area like Tea Gardens Hawks Nest.

The group generally meets once a week for a morning ride and is always pleased to receive new members.

Time trials will be held again in about four weeks.

For enquiries call Col Bertram on 4997 2191.
