Bumper catch at Bulahdelah club's first outing for 2012

25 Jan, 2012 12:00 AM
BULAHDELAH Fishing Club got the new season off to a great start with a bumper first outing and weigh-in.

A big sign-on of 55 anglers saw the weigh masters kept busy for quite some time. Great to see the return of some old faces and plenty of new ones as well.

Club members fished in various locations from Stockton to Sandbar and some excellent catches were presented.

Some exceptional fish went over the scales. Tom Evans had a flat head that weighed more than four kilograms, Jayden Lilley had a nice Jew more than six kilograms and Darren Carrall weighed in a tailor of one and half kilograms. Mystery fish was mullet and was taken out by Stuart Lyall.
