Heavy rain washes out Bulahdelah Bass Bash

HEAVY rainfall and flooding in the Bulahdelah area has caused the annual Bass Bash to be postponed until March.

"The main reason it has been postponed is public safety due to recent local flooding," Bulahdelah Fishing Club president Michael Sackley said.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience caused due to the unforseen circumstances," he said.

The Bulahdelah Bass Bash Ball on Friday, February 10 however will still be taking place as planned.

"We look forward to seeing you all there," Mr Sackley said.

The Bulahdelah Bass Bash in set to take place on the weekend of March 23, 24 and 25, with another Bass Bash Ball still taking place at the postponed event.

"It will be the full blown ball on the 23rd," Mr Sackley said.

Bulahdelah Fishing Club would like to remind all members that the Mid North Coast Estuary Titles are to be held on February 18 and 19.

The weight will be held on Sunday at Lake Cathie Bowling Club at 1pm sharp all eskies must be in the ring before 1pm.
