Holden Scramble comes to Hawks Nest

13 Jun, 2006 10:17 AM
SUNDAY, August 6 will see a 10am shotgun start for this very popular event at Hawks Nest Golf Club.

Sponsored by Graham Turner Holden of Dungog, this event can accommodate male, female and mixed teams.

All players must have current AGU/WGA handicaps.

The maximum for ladies is 40 and 27 for men.

Each team can only have one player with a single figure handicap and the three-member team aggregate handicap must be at least 24 and must not exceed 81.

There will be over $2000 worth of great prizes to be won, which will be presented during the barbeque lunch after the game.

The entry fee is $30 per player, with all entrants receiving six free Precept Golf Balls valued at $24.

Depending upon the size of the field, one or more winning teams will progress to the regional final, which will be held from mid October to early November 2006.

These winning teams will be joined by a PGA Professional to make teams of four for the regional event.

Regional winners will play in the championship final with a leading PGA Tour Professional.

This event will be held at Novotel Twin Waters Resort in late November/early December 2006.

The course will be set-up for full tournament conditions.

If you would like to take part in this great event, get a team of three together and contact the Hawks Nest Golf Club Professional, Steve Denning on 4997 0740, Fax 4997 1397 or email stevedenning@hawksnestgolfclub.co m.au
