Junior golfers develop new skills

THIRTY participants in the Myall Junior Golf Academy program has made term one very busy this year.

A number of newcomers to the game have developed their skills alongside more experienced students to compete keenly in the end of term tournament.

Winners in the competition were:

o Stage three: Jackson Page

o Stage two: boys Luke Ireland and girls Sami Davidson

o Stage one: boys Brent Johnson and girls Jade Hunter

Winners in the putting competition were:

o Stage three: Jesy Carpenter.

o Stage two boys: Noah Pholi-Harris, Cooper Hunter and Ben Johnston and girls Olivia Bartley.

o Stage one boys: Brent Johnson and girls Jade Hunter.

All students enjoyed a meal at the bistro and received gift vouchers from Solo Prices. Congratulations to Hamish Hunkin, Eliza Ingram and Jessica Page who won encouragement awards kindly donated by Layne Bartley and Adrian Yeo.

Once again thanks go to Steve Denning and Hawks Nest Golf Club as well as the staff at Tea Gardens Public School for their ongoing support.
