OVER 200 women from 30 golf clubs across NSW met at Hawks Nest Golf Club earlier this month for the annual Ladies Classic.
Sponsored by Hawks Nest First National and hosted by Hawks Nest Women’s Golf the event also included a fashion parade and bistro by the Woodlands restaurant.
The weather was kind and the golf course looked a picture thanks to the hard work of the green staff.
The support of local businesses and Steve Denning meant a raffle in aid of the Westpac Helipad raised over $1000.
The 36 hole scratch winner was Lyn Townsend from Wollongong who was defending her title from last year. Runner up was Jill Blenkey from Newcastle.
The 36 hole nett winner was Louise Low from Manly and the runner up was Elaine Coleman from Bayview.
The 36 hole Stableford winner was Sue Crockett from Merewether and the runner up was Lyn Hatch from Bayview.
Di Davis was on hand to present the winner’s trophy to Lyn on behalf of Mick Rumble from 1st National Real Estate.
