BEN Eadie represented Bulahdelah Central School at Shortland Waters Golf Course Newcastle, on Monday November 28.
The competition was run by the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation for high school students from the Lower North Coast and the Hunter Region.
Students played from Years 7, 8 and 9, coming from as far as Wingham and Muswellbrook. The hilly Shortlands Waters Course proved a tough challenge, especially when the temperatures started to soar to more tahn30 degrees.
Ben shot an 80 off the stick, 1 over his handicap to win the Year 7 division.
