Tea Gardens Ladies Bowling Club

THE ladies played two great days of bowls this last week. Pat Baker won the final of novice consistency singles against Bev Stephens on Tuesday November 10. Well played ladies.

The winners of social bowls were C Atkins, V Gray, L Green and N.Jackson. Coming runners up was L Harvey, B Rhodes and L Brennan.

On Thursday November 12, everyone played 21 ends of social bowls. The winners were P Baker, B Rhodes, A Mackenzie and M Sargeant.

The runners up playing a game of pairs were S Leiseman and B Parkinson.

Next Thursday November 19, Tea Gardens Ladies will be playing Karauh for the Ruth Bowden trophy.

Helen Doorey and Vicki Rankin represented the Newcastle district for the bowl trophy against Central Coast with Newcastle District winning the day.

An exciting mixed final was played Saturday November 14 between Vicki Rankin and Craig Golledge, and Nola Jackson and Barry Drayton, who won. Well bowled players.
