ON Thursday April 29, our club was host to the Nola Nolan foundation president pairs.
The winners were Helen Doorey and Deyonee Page.
Runners up were Nola Jackson and Audrey Tyne.
The club combined the day with a celebration of its 55th birthday. It was fitting that our birthday be celebrated on Nola’s day as she was the foundation president of our club in 1955 and held this position for 17 years.
She was also the youngest president in the state.
On Tuesday April 27 the ladies played triple bowls.
Winners were Sandra Leisemann, Jill McBride and Lorna Brennan.
