TWELVE of our members travelled to Stockton on June 23 to join in celebrations for the Newcastle District WBA Veteran's Day.
A delicious lunch was provided after a fun game of bowls, following which District President, Marcia Wiebe presented special awards.
Among those to receive their Super Veteran's badge were four of our ladies - Lola Bacon, Noella Bentley, Edna Brown and Mavis Mowbray.
