The game was played at Karuah under difficult conditions, with only half the game played on Saturday due to increasing heavy rain starting again as soon as the players walked onto the green.

However both sides played some quality shots and ignored the rain and cold as best they could.

Tea Gardens supporters get a bit thank you from the players for backing up on both days and making their presence felt, this was appreciated and added to the determination to perform well.

Karuah Bowling Club provided excellent facilities for the final and put on a barbeque after the game on both days. We all thank them for their hospitality. This side now qualifies to play off for the State Titles at Dubbo in August.
