Jill McBride, Olive McKeown, Maureen Shelly and Wendy Brand (skip) defeated Penny Janes, Deyonne Page, Jo Younghusband and Loretta Baker (skip) in a very close match 21 – 19.

It was a great game befitting a final.

Social winners were Bev Stephens, Liz Kelly and Helen Doorey.

Thursday February 18 saw the commencement of the district fours, with one team playing at Stockton and four teams playing in Karuah.

Helen Doorey and Maynie Roberts’ team progressed to the next round with Anne Mackenzie’s team.

There were three district games played on our greens along with social bowls.

The winners of the social bowls were T J Welsh, Jill McBride, Wilma Drake and Maureen Shelly.

District pennants commence on Tuesday March 2.

We are fielding four teams this year in grade two, three and four.

We wish them all well in their forthcoming games.
