 Bowlers set for Bathurst

Bowlers set for Bathurst

18 Jun, 2008 09:27 AM
A moment such as this only comes around a few times in ones sporting life.

The Tea Gardens Men’s Bowlers held a breakfast to honour the pennant players who will compete in Bathurst later in the year.

Players combined with the ladies on June 4, to celebrate with the number four grade bowls team.

The team recently won their section and will compete at the state titles on August 1.

The club is now going all out to raise funds to help send the team to Bathurst with ticket sellers raising funds through a raffle.

So when you see them around town, please donate as every dollar is a bonus.

To all the helpers, cooks and committee that arranged the breakfast, job well done.

Go the dolphins, bring that state flag home to Tea Gardens.
