CROQUET

Myall Park Croquet Club

ON Saturday January 16th fourteen players graced our croquet courts. This included two new players, Greg Everingham and Shirley Long whom we hope to eventually join our Club.

Divided into four teams, we made up three teams of four and two single players, playing three games with a tea break in between.

Members scoring the tricky jump shots were Jerry Guinness, Mary Bone and Michael Bone, while Jenny Holligan, Carolyn Seymour and Tony Jones played really well.

As an experienced player, Tony passed on some serious playing tips to new player, Greg Everingham, which I am sure Greg appreciated. The Club again thanks both Jerry and Tony for the many hours spent on court maintenance over the holiday period.

Please note both days commence at 8.45 for a 9am start.

If any members require a name badge or t-shirt, please contact Treasurer Natalie Rowney on 4997 2258

Please consider a game of croquet on a Monday, or Saturday as it is a challenging but competitive game that involves thought and strategy.

Contact secretary, Liz Burgess on 4997 0461.

Happy Croqueting, look forward to seeing you.
