A MEETING was held on Tuesday, January 24, with a view to form a local branch of the Ulysses Motorcycle Club.
19 people attended the meeting, with all present keen to form a group and participate in day rides and weekends away. The job now is to find a name for the group and organise some rides and social events.
Our inaugural ride was held on Australia Day, with five bikes heading out to Singleton for morning tea.
It was organised to meet up with the Hawkesbury Ulysses Group here on their annual pilgrimage to Tea Gardens (about 15 bikes). We rode with them to Dungog for lunch and then home via Booral. A great day, (see picture above).
Our next ride is on Sunday, February 12, to Forster via Smiths Lake departing at 9am from Tea Gardens Hotel.
The next monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 28, at 7.30pm in the Dolphin Room, Tea Gardens Hotel.
