WITH only one game remaining, our Pelican Pest Control sponsored No 5 Pennant Side cannot be beaten in their section and will go on to contest the zone finals in mid May.
The Sixes, Seven (1) and Seven (2) also had successful seasons, finishing just behind the leaders in their sections.
Tip for the week: When a bowl in motion touches the Jack, the bowl is to be marked as a toucher and not the Jack.
Also, Pennant players are asked to make sure they wear the correct shirts to bowls. For more information contact Neville Shearman.
On Sunday we had 74 starters for the Annual ANZAC Memorial Bowls Tournament, which was won by Laurie Welsh, Ros Dickson and Maynie Roberts.
