Organisers fixed the team availability problems. Thank you to Lorrie Parker, Josie Nielsen, Irene Gann and Fay Barclay from Karuah and Beryl Chapman, Joyce Morgan, Pat Roberts and Audrey Jary from Bulahdelah for helping during the event.

After a minor hiccup teams had a well run and successful day, with blue skies and wind, which made for fun and frustration.

The Queens of the Mountain; lead B Parker, second M Porter and skip V Feuersanger, were given their cheque and suitably crowned with their flashing tiaras.

Second place was tightly contested between Jannitta Rollinson’s team from Tea Gardens and Loretta Towers’ team from Bulahdelah. The Tea Gardens team took out the second place in the end.

Thank you to Rusty’s sticky date puddings for sponsoring the third place winners and the consolation which was won by Irene Gann’s team. Two teams have already been confirmed as starters for 2009.
