After meeting every Sunday morning since June 24, Tea Gardens Runners are taking a few weeks off.
We will resume on Sunday, February 3, at the usual time of 7.55am at the Lions Lookout.
Breton Gibbs, Peter Brown and Megan Markham, winners of last week’s team event, were presented with a trophy.
Tim Louden, Mitchell Markham, Carl Williams, Shannon Markham and Matthew Williams also were present with trophies as the five of them hold all of our 2007 records.
We thank the Nota staff for publishing our photos and results week after week and wish them a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
On a personal note, I thank all the walkers, joggers and runners who have helped to promote distance running in our town, hopefully we will have an even better year in 2008, merry Christmas to you all.
