The final of the Novice Consistency Singles was played on Tuesday, November 11, between Margaret Smith and Bev Stephens.
A great game was played between Stephens and Smith.
Smith was the runner up in 2007 while Stephens was playing her first final game.
Smith took out the winning title.
A spider was held before start of play with winner being Maureen Oldfield.
Social bowls winners were A Tyne, N Grehan, B Foster and D Winter with runner up S Leisemann, L Brennan, M Sargeant and M Roberts. There were a good crowd of ladies at social bowls on Thursday, Novemver 13.
Winners were L Green, P Madden, Sydney Avalon Club visitor Troy Overy and V Hicks with runners up M Shelley, J McBride and L Baker.
