Triumphant McKillop House win the Milroy Challenge

14 Feb, 2006 10:42 AM
LAST Wednesday, all the students enthusiastically swam for their house at the St Josephs Swimming Carnival, Bulahdelah.

The weather was nearly as hot as the competition as the primary children competed in 25metre and 50metre races of backstroke, freestyle, breastroke and butterfly.

But at the end of the day it was the 'red' team of the McKillop House that took out the inaugural Milroy Swimming Trophy.

The challenge trophy has been named after the Milroy Family of Bulahdelah, showing the schools appreciation for all the Milroy's tireless fundraising for the St Josephs Primary School over many, many years.

The trophy will be proudly displayed in the trophy cabinet in the foyer of the new school that will be opened ready for Term 2 this year.
