THE Tea Gardens Hotel Hawks can consolidate a spot in the 2009 semi final series with a one win in the final three rounds.
The Hawks are at home to East Maitland this week, followed by a second home game against Wangi. The last game will be the local derby against the Raiders at Stroud.
Following last weekend’s catch up games in the schedule bye round Central Wyong lead the competition on 18 points.
The Hawks are in second place on 15 points, just ahead of Wangi on fourteen. The battle for fifth position is even, with West Maitland and Stroud on 11 points, although Stroud has a deferred game to play against East Maitland. Gloucester and Abermain are locked on 10 points, with East Maitland at the bottom of the ladder on three points.
This Saturday, the Hawks will play East Maitland. The game will kick off at 2.30pm.
They will play the Wangi Warriors the following Sunday, kick off at 2.30pm and will feature the Hawks Sponsor’s Day.
