THE Myall River Junior Rugby League Football Club held a sign-on day last Saturday to gauge the options to enter teams into a competition next year.
The day was supported by the Newcastle Knights, with young players Riley Brown, Beau Simpson, Shaun Richardson and Brendan Worth taking part in drills with the players, prepared by the Knights training staff.
A good turnout of players attended, although it is too early to settle on teams at this stage. A second day will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 1pm.
The club will hold a meeting on Thursday night, December 14, at 7 30pm. The meeting will be held at the Tea Gardens Hotel. Support for the concept is required.
