A registration day will be held on Wednesday, October 15, from 2.30pm at Tea Gardens Public School and registration forms will be available at Indigo Blue Homewares.

Swimming Club is a fun and social activity held every Wednesday afternoon during the swimming season, from October to April.

All children aged over four years old are welcome, regardless of their swimming ability.

Children must be confident in the water but do not necessarily have to be able to swim in any recognisable stroke.

Floaties and bubbles may be used but must be provided by parents as there are none kept with the club.

Children will not be racing against each other but will be swimming against their own personal times for each stroke.

They are encouraged to have a go at all races as the aim of the swimming club is to have fun whilst trying to improve personal times. Points are awarded for completing each swim with bonus points awarded for any improvement in personal times.

Beginning swimmers will join as tadpoles and will progress through grades D,C,B and A as they become capable of meeting the qualifying times for the next grade.

Swimming Club commences at 4.30pm for tadpoles and 5pm if you are graded and is usually completed by 6.30pm.

Hot dogs, drinks and snacks are available for purchase during the afternoon.

It would be nice to see some new faces this year so come along for the first session to see if you like it and you can join the club on the night.
