Jayden Lillee represented the Mid-North Coast in the national competition where he scored second place. Bulahdelah Fishing Club president Mick Sackley said it was a "big achievement on his behalf."

The annual presentation took place at Bulahdelah Bowling club where Zane Pringle came first in the sub-junior section, Mick Shultz in the junior, Angela Battle for the women and Grant Bidgood in the mens.

Most improved went to Paul Shutlz and biggest stirrer award to Sean Woodward.

The club had about 140 members in 2011 with many families joining the club together.

The club is anticipating its annual Bulahdelah Bass Bash, a renowned catch and release competition on February 11 and 12.

Registration for the event begins from 4pm Friday, February 10 at the southern Bulahdelah boat ramp.

The weekend will begin with the Bass Bash Ball on the Friday evening at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club.

A presentation ceremony on Sunday at Bulahdelah Bowling Club will wrap up the weekend.

Mr Sackley said the club was also looking forward to its annual trip to Crescent Head during the June long weekend.

"We book lots of houses and everyone really looks forward to it," he said.
