THE Tea Gardens Hawks will start their 2012 campaign on Tuesday, January 24 at Myall Park Oval with the first training session at 6pm.
The club has retained last year's training staff with Brooke Roach in the coaching role for his fourth season.
Justin Ridgeway will again be the fitness co-ordinator and team manager.
Trainers Greg Sanders, Chris Ehlfeldt, and Sharon Stockell are back.
Players from last year's squad include Trent Murphy, Jason Purdon, Nathan Ruse, Anthony Cameron, Luke Handsaker, Jake Ridgeway and Jake Langdon. Players indicating a return to the Hawks are Matt Browne, Aden Callaghan, Blake Gibson, and Daniel Nutt. The club welcomes new players to come on board.
Early indications are of strong support for the club with most existing, and several new sponsors on board.
The club's membership drive has started. Membership is $25 per person or $45 a double. Membership benefits include discount beverage and a cash members draw at home games.
The club will again hold an NRL tipping competition, with books on sale from February 3.
