A CANNABIS plant more than one metre high was found hanging from the ceiling of a bedroom in a Karuah home according to police.
Police said they attended an address in Karuah at 2pm on Friday, March 27 after a tip-off.
Officers then searched the home of a 54-year-old woman.
According to police she allowed them to search her backyard, and then her house where they allegedly located the large cannabis plant which was in the process of drying.
She was charged with cultivate prohibited drug and will face Raymond Terrace Court on April 23.
