THE Myall Coast Mudcrabs face a challenging two weeks competition after having a two week playing gap due to a bye and representative commitments.
A number of Mudcrab players were involved in the Lower Mid North Coast team that played a trial with Upper Mid North Coast last Saturday, namely Brendan Cusack, Thomas Evans and Ben Simon who all acquitted themselves well.
The challenge commences this Saturday May 26 when the Mudcrabs take on the strong Manning Ratz from Taree at Myall Park followed by its away game on June 2 at Forster against last years minor premiers the Forster -Tuncurry Dolphins which will bring to a close the first round of the premiership race.
Although the Mudcrabs have done well to date these next two weeks could define their season and eventual position in this competition.
The Mudcrabs will be looking to the total squad to step up and play to the game plan to gain the advantage of field position to enable them to score tries against their opponents.
The Mudcrabs have not been idle of late and have been working on the team song which they have sung enthusiasticley after each win and would now like their supporters to be part of.
The song is printed above.
The Mudcrabs look forward to a bumper crowd this Saturday May 26 at Myall Park, kick off at 3pm.
