CREATIVITY and learning will be the focus of free activities set to be held at Tea Gardens Library during the upcoming winter school holidays.
On Wednesday, July 4, children are invited to come to the library dressed as their favourite rock star.
The afternoon will take place from 2.30pm to 3.30pm with games such as listening to rock music and trying to guess the artist, air guitar and guitars decorating. On Wednesday, July 11, from 10.30am until 11.30am, a member of Ocean and Coastal Care Initiative will conduct an information session on the care and preservation of coastline. This will also include group interaction and activities.
The free days of fun are aimed at children five to 12 years of age. Younger children are welcome with a parent or carer. There are limited places for both activities and bookings are essential for participation. To ensure a place for your child contact Tea Gardens Library on 4997 0111.
