Mudcrabs win after a slow start

THE Myall Coast Mudcrabs won its round 11 clash against Manning Ratz in a strong come-from-behind win at Taree last Saturday.

The game started at a hectic pace with Manning scoring two early tries through a mountain of possession and some poor Mudcrab's defensive lapses.

The Mudcrabs were slow to start having been starved of match practice throughout the last three rounds of competition.

The side soon found its feet however with possession swinging back in the Mudcrabs favour.

Tries to winger Chris Sando out wide and strong running back rower Blake Gibson with the pair both bagging a double.

In the second half of the match the Mudcrabs tactical game played dividends as they were able to keep the pressure on the tiring Manning forwards with more tries to Tom Davy and Ricky Sanson.

This game was exactly what the Mudcrabs needed ahead of the clash with competition leaders Foster Tuncurry Dolphins to be played this Saturday at Myall Park Hawks Nest.
