THE chance to snare a share of $50,000 is available to organisations seeking extra funding for their community projects or activities.
The grant, courtesy of MidCoast Water, is being distributed to successful groups who qualify as a not-for-profit, community organisation.
The program, run annually, aims to help groups and organisations by offsetting the costs of their activities.
MidCoast Water general manager Robert Loadsman encouraged groups across the MidCoast Water service area to consider applying.
In the past sponsorship has been allocated to a range of organisations for festivals, upgrades of community areas, children's services and more.
To qualify, applicants must demonstrate their community-based project or event contributes to the social wellbeing of the broader community.
