WE ARE a small group of local sewing enthusiasts who began meeting weekly to share our passion for our craft.
It wasn’t long before we realised we wanted to expand our group to include all interested sewers and crafters by offering a fresh and fun getaway opportunity for like minded ladies to indulge in the company of other crafters for the whole weekend.
Stroud Valley Quilt and Craft Inc. was formed, as well as sewing weekends, to showcase our members work we now have an annual display at the Stroud brick throwing the third Saturday each July.
We hold an airing of the quilts in Stroud each October long weekend.
We also enjoy doing charity quilts and are currently working on one [to raise funds] for breast cancer research.
We are open for new members both beginners and experienced.
Our girl’s weekend of stitching extends to you the opportunity to partake in a purchase of fantastic fabrics while enjoying great food, learning new skills and meeting new friends.

Furthermore, our wish is that these weekends promote Stroud and its community as the friendly country town that it is and ultimately support local projects where we can.
